Who
we are
Leon Stolarski Fine Wines
is a specialist supplier (and, in the majority of cases, the
sole U.K importer) of wines from some of the best small growers in
southern and central France. Much has already been said about the quality
of our wines by such esteemed writers as Jancis Robinson M.W, Tim Atkin M.W,
Richard Ehrlich, Tom Cannavan, Joanna Simon and Neal Martin.
More wines are being added to our list on a regular basis, so please
keep checking back, as we continue our quest to bring you yet more great
new discoveries in 2009!

Some great new Rhone wines just in -
- Domaine Saint Etienne and La Ferme du Mont
Michel Coullomb at Domaine
Saint Etienne is a grower whose wines have featured on our list for 2
or 3 years now and the quality of the wines he produces is consistently high.
With excellent terroir, situated in rolling hills in the extreme south-west
of the Cotes du Rhone appellation, Monsieur Coullomb is devoted to the art
of fashioning honest-to-goodness wines that speak strongly of their Southern
Rhone origins.
Stéphane Vedeau is based at La Ferme
du Mont in Courthézon in
the Southern Rhone, around which he farms in various appellations, from Cotes
du Rhone through to Chateauneuf-du-Papes. He also has family winemaking connections
in the Northern Rhone. The wines produced by his estates are all of a very
high quality and we cannot recommend them highly enough - they are simply
brilliant!
Some new Roussillon vintages
A few other wines have also recently slipped in under the radar - most notably,
new vintages of Ater (2005) and Tradition (2006) from Domaine
Sol-Payré and One Block Red 2007 from the fabulous Domaine
Treloar.
